I do like the tutorial. But there are a few quirks, which a newbie, such as myself, might have trouble with - until you realise this:If you follow the tutorial word for word, your timeline does not look like this:
http://ccl.flsh.usherb.ca/~johj2201/1.jpg An explanation and a sample screenshot is needed to explain that actions.frame1, actions.frame10 and actions.frame12 have to single frames. Otherwise, if you follow the instructions word for word, the actions layer will look more like the labels layer - unless I got the labels layer wrong too? But it works. P.S. s.onLoad does not seem to work with my version of Flash MX 6. Or it does not display in the version 7 nor 8 players. s.onLoad = function(){
title = "Song Loaded";
...
} A simple screen shot of the timeline, from time to time would be a great solution.

the tutorial is probably more trouble than it is worth. I see you bought an mp3player which has everything you need anyway. The tutorial was a passage from a book i contributed to for Wiley publications. I'm not allowed to use the figures which i don't have anymore anyways. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to fill out a support request on the left. I will help you as best i can. good luck.
